Apply 3M(R) Silencer Strips, P/N 08585, or equivalent to the accelerator cable in order to insulate the cable from the cowl.

Inspect the routing of the cruise control cable if equipped with RPO K34. The cruise control cable MUST be routed over the top of the accelerator
cable. Refer to Accelerator Controls Cable Replacement (SI Document ID # 829294).
5.
Verify that the accelerator cable is properly routed through the control cable bracket on lop of the valve cover.
6.
Close the hood.
