Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Switch: Service and Repair
REAR COMPARTMENT LID SWITCH REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Use a flat-bladed tool to release the retaining tabs for the rear compartment lid switch.
Remove the switch from the Instrument Panel (IP) carrier.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the switch to the IP carrier.
Press the switch until the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
