4. Enable the SIR system.
5. Reprogram the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration.
IMPORTANT: If you do NOT perform the BCM programming procedure, the vehicle option content information which is read by the BCM may be
incorrect and a DTC B1001 Option Configuration Error will set in both the SDM and the BCM. This will illuminate the AIR BAG telltale.
