Fuel Injector: Description and Operation
Fuel injectors are normally closed solenoid valves that open when energized. Injectors get power when the ignition is turned to the "START" or "ON"
position and are energized when the PCM completes the circuit to ground. The control module operates the injectors for varying lengths of time,
depending on the demand for fuel.
