Vibe L4-1.8L VIN L (2003)
14. Remove the 4 plastic retainers (3) which secure the rear of the floor panel carpet (6).
15. Remove the footrest. Refer to Foot Rest Replacement (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Foot Rest Replacement) .
16. Remove the floor mats from the vehicle, if equipped.
17. Remove the floor panel carpet (6) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the floor panel carpet (6) to the vehicle.
2. Reposition the carpet under the body side lower rear garnish moldings.
3. Install the foot rest. Refer to Foot Rest Replacement (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Foot Rest Replacement) .
4. Install the 4 plastic retainers (3) which secure the rear of the floor carpet (6).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
5. Install each of the front seat belt (1) lower anchor bolts to the floor.
Tighten the bolts to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
