Support Replacement - Center

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Latch Replacement  (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch/Service

and Repair/Hood Latch Replacement) .

2. Remove the input air temperature sensor (2) connector from the center support (1).
3. Remove the upper fascia plastic retainer from the top of the center support.

4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

The 2 bolts

*

The center support (2)

Installation Procedure

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the center support (2) to the vehicle. Secure the support with the 2 bolts.

Tighten the center support bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
