Vibe L4-1.8L VIN L (2003)
1. Apply multipurpose grease to the new crankshaft rear oil seal lip.
Important: Tap the oil seal in until its surface is flush with the crankshaft rear oil seal retainer edge.
2. Using a hammer, lightly tap the crankshaft rear oil seal into place.
3. Install the flywheel.
4. If equipped with a manual transmission, install the clutch and pressure plate.
5. Install the transaxle assembly.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.

Tighten the battery cable bolt to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
