Vibe L4-1.8L VIN L (2003)
1. Install the side impact sensor electrical connector.
2. Install the front seat belt retractor.
3. Install the center pillar lower trim panel.
4. Install the rear door sill plate.
5. Install the front door sill plate.
6. Connect the battery negative cable.
7. Install the AM2 Fuse into the junction block (1).
8. Use caution while reaching in and turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
9. The AIR BAG indicator will flash then turn OFF.
10. Perform the SIR Diagnostic System Check if the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described. Refer to Diagnostic System Check -
Restraint Systems.
Zone 3
1. Install the yellow 2-way connector (1) for the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Connect the connector and lock the connector with
the connector lock lever.
2. Install the lower steering column trim cover.
3. Connect the battery negative cable.
