6. Slide the steering column upper cover, release the 3 claws (2) and remove the steering wheel module coil (1).
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Ensure the front wheels are in the straight ahead position.
2. Place turn signal switch in neutral position.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the turn signal switch is in the neutral position or turn signal switch pin may be damaged.
3. Install the steering wheel module coil (1), engage all 3 retaining claws (2).
IMPORTANT: When installing a new steering wheel module coil, remove the lock pin prior to installing the handle.
4. Center the steering wheel module coil, if necessary. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Centering in Steering Wheel and
Column.
