4. Remove the recirculation actuator. Refer to Air Inlet Valve Actuator Replacement   (See: Air Door/Air Door Actuator / Motor/Service and Repair

).

5. Remove the passenger compartment air filter. Refer to Passenger Compartment Air Filter Replacement   (See: Cabin Air Filter/Service and Repair

).

6. Remove the blower motor resistor. Refer to Blower Motor Resistor Replacement   (See: Blower Motor Resistor/Service and Repair).
7. Remove the blower motor. Refer to Blower Motor Replacement   (See: Blower Motor/Service and Repair).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the blower motor. Refer to Blower Motor Replacement   (See: Blower Motor/Service and Repair).
2. Install the blower motor resistor. Refer to Blower Motor Resistor Replacement   (See: Blower Motor Resistor/Service and Repair).
3. Install the passenger compartment air filter. Refer to Passenger Compartment Air Filter Replacement   (See: Cabin Air Filter/Service and Repair).
4. Install the recirculation actuator. Refer to Air Inlet Valve Actuator Replacement   (See: Air Door/Air Door Actuator / Motor/Service and Repair).

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

5. Install the three screws (2). 
6. Install the screw (1) and engage the PTC quick heater connector, if equipped.
