Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

Note:  Check that the park/neutral position switch and the shift lever are in neutral.

10. Install the shift lever assembly with the nuts (1-4) and tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb in).

11. Connect the connectors (1) and clamps to the shift lever assembly.
