Vibe FWD L4-1.8L VIN 8 (2004)
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
1. Install the bleeder valve (12) to the caliper.
Tighten
Tighten the bleeder valve to 8.3 N.m (73.46 lb in).
2. Install the bleeder valve cap (13).
3. Lubricate the following components with Delco Supreme 11 brake fluid, GM P/N 12377967 (Canadian P/N 992667), or an equivalent DOT 3
brake fluid:

The caliper bore
^
A NEW piston seal (9)
^
The piston (8)
^
A NEW piston boot (7)
^
A NEW set ring (6)
4. Install the piston seal into the caliper bore. Verify the seal is not twisted.
5. Install the piston into the caliper bore.
6. Install the piston boot over the piston.
7. Install the set ring.
8. Install the caliper to the vehicle. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Front.
