5. Unclip the heater cartridge from the engine block.

Installation Procedure

1. Fully seat the heater cartridge against the engine block and ensure the clip snaps in place. The final wire harness should be in the 8 o'clock

position. The final retaining clip location should be in the 3 o'clock position.

2. Route the wire harness along the rear of the engine aligned with the heater hose tube.

3. Ensure the wire harness cartridge plug is fully seated onto the cartridge.
4. Ensure the main wire harness clip is fully seated.
5. On vehicles with manual transmission, route the heater wire harness as shown.
