5. Install the front side door sill trim plate (1) to the vehicle. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement  (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Door Sill Plate Replacement) .

6. Install the rear side door sill trim plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement  (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Door Sill Plate Replacement) .

7. Enable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zones   in SIR.

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

The front sill plate trim. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement  (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Door Sill Plate
Replacement) .

The plastic retainer (2)

*

The body hinge pillar trim panel (1)

Installation Procedure

1. Install the body hinge pillar trim panel (1) to the vehicle. Secure the trim panel with the plastic retainer (2).
2. Install the front sill plate trim. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement  (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Door Sill

Plate Replacement) .
