8. Remove the wheel speed sensor retaining bolt (1) and remove the wheel speed sensor (2) from suspension knuckle.

Installation Procedure

1. Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the wheel speed sensor (2) to the steering knuckle.

Tighten the rear wheel speed sensor bolt (1) to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).

2. Install the bolt (1) and nut (2) which retains the wheel speed sensor harness to the upper arm and suspension member.

Tighten the bolt and nut bolt to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.).

3. Install the bolt (2) which retains the wheel speed sensor harness (1) to the vehicle.

Tighten the bolt and nut bolt to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.).

4. Reposition the wheel speed pigtail harness through the body. Install the grommet.
5. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (1).
