INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the front seat belt retractor (7) to the vehicle. Secure the retractor with the upper bolt (3) and the lower bolt (6).

Tighten the front seat belt retractor upper mounting bolt to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

Tighten the front seat belt retractor lower mounting bolt to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Connect the pretensioner electrical connector (1).

3. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide (1). Secure with bolt (2).

Tighten the adjuster bolt to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

4. Install the front seat belt upper anchor bolt trim cover (3).
5. Install the center pillar lower trim panel.
6. Install the front side door sill trim plate.
7. Install the rear side door sill trim plate.

8. Install the front seat belt lower anchor bolt (5) to the front lower anchor.

Tighten the anchor bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

9. Install the front seat belt lower anchor bolt trim cover (4).

10. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2.
