Fuel Tank Filler Door Latch Release Cable Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket   (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).
2. Remove the left body hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair).

3. Remove the left front and rear side door sill trim plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Front Sill)   (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff

Plate/Service and Repair)Door Sill Plate Replacement (Rear Sill)   (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair).

4. Remove the left center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair).

5. Position the floor panel carpet aside to access the fuel tank filler door latch release cable.
6. Remove the fuel tank filler door lock actuator. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Door Lock Actuator Replacement   (See: ).
7. Disconnect the fuel tank filler door latch release cable (2) from the fuel tank filler door lock actuator (1).
8. Remove the left lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim
