Removal Procedure

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair).

2. Disconnect the latch cable (1).

3. Disconnect the rod (1).
