1. Install the liftgate lock actuator (2) to the liftgate.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution)

2. Install the liftgate lock actuator bolts (1). Tighten liftgate latch bolts to 7.5 Nm (66 lb in).

3. Connect the rod (1). 
4. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair).
