2. If equipped, install NEW brake pipe retainers (3).
3. If the brake pipe is attached to a flexible brake hose (4), use a wrench in order to hold the brake hose.
4. Install the brake pipe (1) and the fittings (2).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
5. Use torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 250 mm (9.84 in) and a union nut wrench in order to tighten the fitting (2) to 14 Nm (124 lb in).
6. Install the brake pipe to the brackets as necessary.

7. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair).
8. If you removed a tire and wheel assembly, install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See:
Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair).
9. If you raised the vehicle, lower the vehicle.
10. Inspect the hydraulic brake system for leaks. Repair as necessary. Refer to Brake System External Leak Inspection (See: Testing and
Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Brake System External Leak Inspection).
