Suction Hose Replacement

Suction Hose Replacement (2.4L (LAX))

Removal Procedure

Note:  When installing a new hose assembly add 40 ml (1.4 fl oz) of refrigerant oil to the refrigeration system.

1. Discharge and recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging   (See: Service and Repair/Refrigerant Recovery and

Recharging).

Note:  Cap the open fittings to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the refrigeration system.

2. Remove the bolt (9) and the suction hose (7) from the compressor.
3. Remove the bolt (3) and the suction hose assembly (7) from the A/C evaporator tube (5).

Installation Procedure

1. Install new O-rings lubricated with 525 viscosity mineral oil.
