Headlamp Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the SIR coil. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Coil Replacement   (See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag

Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement).

2. Remove the wiper switch. Refer to Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Replacement   (See: Sensors and Switches/Sensors and Switches -

Wiper and Washer Systems/Windshield Washer Switch/Service and Repair).

3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
4. Disengage the clamp (2).

5. Disengage the retaining tab (1) and remove the headlamp switch (2) from the steering column.
