2. Position the suction hose assembly (7) into the vehicle.
3. Install the suction hose (7) to the evaporator tube (5).

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

4. Install the suction hose bolt (3) to the A/C evaporator tube (5)

Tighten the bolt (3) to 9.8 Nm (87 lb in).

5. Install the suction hose (7) and bolt (9) to the compressor.

Tighten the bolt (9) to 9.8 Nm (87 lb in).

6. Evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging   (See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and

Repair/Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging).

7. Operate the A/C system and test for refrigerant leaks. Refer to Leak Testing   (See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Testing and

Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Leak Testing).
