Tire Pressure Indicator Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle   (See: Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation   (See: Service and Repair).
3. Separate the top bead of the tire from the wheel. Refer to Tire Dismounting and Mounting   (See: Tires/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement).

4. Remove the tire pressure indicator sensor (4).

Inspection Procedure

1. Inspect the tire pressure indicator sensor for deformation, damage, or other concerns. If you are replacing the sensor, also replace the old grommet,
