8. Inflate the tire until the beads pass over the bead humps.
9. Install the valve core to the valve stem.
10. Inflate the tire to the specification listed on the tire placard.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
11. Verify the sensor nut is tightened to the specification.
Tighten the nut to 4.0 Nm (35.4 lb in).
12. Remove the tire and wheel assembly from the tire changing machine.
13. Ensure the locating rings are visible on both sides of the tire in order to verify the tire beads are seated on the wheel.
14. Balance the tire and wheel assembly.
15. Inspect the tire and wheel assembly for air leaks with soapy water. Repair any air leaks.
16. Install the tire and wheel assembly to the vehicle. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Service and Repair).
17. Lower the vehicle.
18. Register the transmitter ID. Refer to Tire Pressure Indicator Sensor Learn (See: Tire Monitoring System/Service and Repair/Reset Procedure/Tire
Pressure Indicator Sensor Learn).
19. Initialize the system. Refer to Tire Pressure Monitor System Configuration (See: Tire Monitoring System/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Tire Pressure Monitor System Configuration).
