11. Connect the switch connector.
12. Connect the transmission control cable to the bracket with a new clip.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution)
13. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the control shaft lever with the nut (1) and tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
14. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery Tray/Service and Repair).
15. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair).
16. Connect the negative battery cable to the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (See: Starting and
Charging/Battery/Battery Cable/Service and Repair).
17. Adjust the shift lever position.
