Vehicle Speed Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement   (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement   (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery Tray/Service and Repair).
3. Remove the engine cover assembly. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Engine Cover Replacement).

4. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

5. Disconnect the transmission wire connector, park/neutral position switch connector (2) and wire harness clamps.
6. Remove the bolt and transmission oil level indicator tube sub-assembly.
7. Remove the O-ring from the transmission oil level indicator tube sub-assembly.
