Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Cover Replacement)

2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Cover Replacement)

3. Remove the air cleaner cap with hose.
4. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector (1).
5. Separate the 2 wire harness clamps (2, 3).

6. Disconnect the vacuum switching valve connector (2) and the 2 vacuum hoses (1, 3).
