Installation Procedure

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

1. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor (1) through a new gasket (2) and tighten to 20 Nm (14 lb ft).

2. Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (1).
3. Install the air cleaner case.
4. Install the air cleaner cap with hose.
5. Add engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service and Repair).
6. Inspect for coolant leak.
7. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Engine Cover Replacement).
