1. Install the side impact module (2).
2. Install the side impact module fasteners (1).
3. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the side impact module.

4. Install the front seat back cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (With Seat Back Board)   (See:

5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling   (See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair).

Removal Procedure

Warning:  Refer to SIR Warning   (See: Service Precautions/SIR Warning).

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling   (See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair).
2. Place the front wheels in the straight ahead position.
