1. Install the SIS (1).

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the SIS fastener (2).

Tighten the fastener to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

3. Install the SIS electrical connector.
4. Install the rear seat garnish molding. Refer to Body Side Rear Garnish Molding Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair).

5. Install the rear door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Front Sill)   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff

6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling   (See: Air Bag Systems/Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair).
