Use new O-rings lubricated with 525 viscosity mineral oil.

Hold the A/C refrigerant pressure switch mount with an open end wrench to avoid bending the liquid line.

1. Install the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (2).

Tighten the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (2) to 11 Nm (8.0 lb ft).

2. Connect the A/C refrigerant pressure switch electrical connector (1).
3. Evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging   (See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and

Repair/Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging).

4. Operate the A/C system and check for leaks. Refer to Leak Testing   (See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests

and General Diagnostics/Leak Testing).
