Note:  When inserting the stop lamp switch assembly, support the pedal from behind so that the pedal is not pushed in.

1. Install the stop lamp switch (1) until the rod hits the cushion. 
2. Make a quarter turn clockwise to install the stop lamp switch assembly.
3. Adjust the stop lamp clearance. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Adjustment   (See: Adjustments).

4. Connect the stop lamp switch electrical connector (1).
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
