1. Inspect the tire pressure indicator sensor for deformation, damage, or other concerns. If you are replacing the sensor, also replace the old grommet,
washer, and nut.
Note: Ensure there is no oil, water, or lubricant on any sensor components.
2. Remove any tire sealant or foreign matter from the sensor components.
Note: Ensure there is no oil, water, or lubricant around the rim hole.
3. Remove any tire sealant or foreign matter from the wheel.
Disposal Procedure
Note: The tire pressure indicator sensor has a lithium battery.
1. Use a flat-blade tool in order to pry off the back cover.
