9. Using a suitable tool (1), measure the clearance of the boot clamp.

Note:  If the measured value exceeds the specified value, retighten the clamp.

10. Inspect the clearance of the larger rear wheel drive shaft outboard joint boot clamp.

Clearance: 1.0 mm (0.0394 in)

11. Install the rear wheel drive shaft inner joint boot. Refer to Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Inner Joint Boot Replacement   (See: Rear Wheel Drive Shaft

Inner Joint Boot Replacement).

12. Install the rear wheel drive shaft. Refer to Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement   (See: Service and Repair/Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement).
