Installation Procedure

Note:  Before installing the window into the door, check to see that the bottom channels are securely attached to the window. If a channel is loose,
note the location of the channel on the window and then remove the channel from the window. Clean all remaining adhesive from the channel.
Apply a bead of Automix Channel Bonding and Sidelite Adhesive, 3M P/N 08641, or equivalent, to the channel and install the channel onto the
window. Refer to adhesive manufacturer's instructions for cure time.

1. Insert the front door glass (1) into the front door along the door glass run channel.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Reposition the window (1) and install the bolts (2). Tighten the window-to-regulator bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb in).
3. Install the front side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and

Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair).
