Preliminary work

1. Remove main headlight.

Removing main headlight lid

1. Unscrew the four fastening screws -1- on the lid.

2. Release the lid at one attachment point at the top and two at the bottom -a- and remove it from the main headlight.

Loosening gas-discharge control unit

1. Unscrew the three fastening screws for the control unit bracket -1- and remove bracket and control unit.
