8.2.

Fit diagonal arm -17- on the rear-axle carrier side section -1-. To do this, screw in (fit) bolts -18, 19-.

9. Tighten the rear axle.

Observe prescribed tightening sequence so as not to twist the rear axle.

Rear-axle carrier side section

9.1.

Tighten front rear-axle carrier side section -7- at the left and right.

Stud -4- securing rear-axle carrier side section to body (front)

-> Tightening torque: 46 Nm (34 ftlb.)

Lock nut -7- securing rear-axle carrier side section to body (front)

-> Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81.5 ftlb.)

9.2.

Tighten rear rear-axle carrier side section -6- at the left and right.

9.3.

Tighten center rear-axle carrier side section -5- at the left and right.

Rear-axle carrier side section to body (center and rear) -5 and 6-.

-> Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81.5 ftlb.)

9.4.

Tighten cross member -14- to carrier side section at the bottom left/right first, then at the top left/right.

Cross member

-> Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81.5 ftlb.)

9.5.

Tighten diagonal brace to the body -12- at the left and right.

-> Tightening torque: M10=65 Nm (48 ftlb.)

-> Tightening torque: M12=110 Nm (81.5 ftlb.)
