Removing clutch slave cylinder
Information
The following tools can be used to undo and tighten the fastening screws:

For the lower screw, use a 3/8 inch changeover ratchet with an extension of approx. 100 mm and a 13 mm socket wrench insert.

For the upper screw, use a 3/8 inch changeover ratchet with an extension of approx. 250 mm, a universal joint and a 13 mm socket wrench insert.
1. Remove line on clutch slave cylinder (up to 2008 model - screwed/as of 2009 model - plug-in) and loosen the two fastening screws.

Clutch line: Screwed version
Clutch slave cylinder (screwed clutch line)
1.1.1.
Loosen the line -1- on the clutch slave cylinder and unclip the line from the holder -2-.
1.1.2.
Close off the line -1- and the connection bore in the clutch slave cylinder.
1.1.3.
Loosen the fastening screws -3-.

Clutch line: Plug-in version (as of 2009 model)
Clutch slave cylinder (plug-in clutch line)
1.2.1.
Unclip the line -1- from the holder -2-.
1.2.2.
Release the safety clip -4- from the line -1- on the clutch slave cylinder (move it carefully as far as it will go/as shown).
Pull out the line -1- (-arrow-).
1.2.3.
Close off the line -1- and connection bore in the clutch slave cylinder.
1.2.4.
Loosen the fastening screws -3-.
2. Remove clutch slave cylinder from the transmission housing.
Installing clutch slave cylinder
1. Grease end of the push rod of the clutch slave cylinder - in the area located in the ball socket when installed with a thin coat of Kluberalfa HM
83-801 (approx. 2 grams). Part No. 000.043.304.02 (50g tube).
Information
When installing the clutch slave cylinder, it is necessary to overcome the spring force acting on the push rod whilst fitting a fastening screw.
