Throttle Plate - PFI: Description and Operation
The throttle valve is used to regulate the amount of air allowed into the engine. The throttle valve angle is controlled solely by the accelerator pedal and
cable. Mounted to the throttle valve assembly are the idle speed positioner, the resonance flap and the throttle switch.
