1.2.4 Insert a screwdriver through the bore and turn the adjustment fixture for the handbrake towards "Release".

1.2.5 Remove brake disc (unscrew two cross-recess screws).

Remove brake caliper and brake disc on front axle.

1.3.1 Open lock on plug connection for electric line for the speed sensor/wear indicator on the wheel carrier and pull off connector for wear

indicator.

1.3.2 Unscrew brake line on brake hose.

1.3.3 Screw off brake caliper from wheel carrier and pull it off the brake disc.

1.3.4 Remove brake disc (unscrew two phillips-recess screws).

Note:

Observe marking (L = left/R = right) on the PCCB brake discs and direction of rotation (arrows) during installation!

Install PCCB brake disc and brake caliper on the rear axle. 

2.1

Install PCCB brake disc.

2.1.1 Clean the flat and centering surfaces of the wheel hub and apply a thin layer of Optimoly TA to the centering surfaces.

2.1.2 Fit PCCB brake disc using assembly aid and tighten the two phillips-recess screws.

Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ft-lb.)

2.2

Pre-fit the new brake caliper.

2.2.1 Fit brake hose holder => Figure 3-C-and brake line => Figure 3-B- on the brake caliper => Figure 3-A-.

Tightening torque: 12 Nm (9.0 ft-lb.)

2.2.2 Fit old support for wire for wear indicator => Figure 3-D- on the brake caliper and clip in new wire for wear indicator.

2.3

Install the pre-fitted brake caliper using two new fastening screws (M12 x 1.5 x 85).

Tightening torque: 85 Nm (63 ft-lb.)

2.4

Screw brake line to the brake hose.

Tightening torque: 12 Nm (9.0 ft-lb.) +2 Nm (+1.5 ft-lb.)

2.5

Fit connector for wear indicator into the wheel carrier and close lock on plug connection for wire for the speed sensor/wear indicator.

Note:

Observe marking (L = left/R = right) on the PCCB brake discs and direction of rotation (arrows) during installation!

3.

Install PCCB brake disc and brake caliper on front axle.
