Tandem pump on right side of cylinder head

Pull the vacuum line -2- out of the joining socket on the pump.

Unscrew lower fastening screws -1- and remove the tandem pump -3-.

Installing vacuum pump - up to 2008 model

1. Clean contact surfaces on the tandem pump and cylinder head.
2. Replace the sealing ring -3- and grease it before fitting.

Grease sealing ring with "Kluber Syntheso Glep 1" (Porsche Part No. 000.043.204.68).

3. Install the tandem pump -3-.

3.1.

Align and insert driver for the tandem pump.

3.2.

Connect the vacuum line -2-.

Tighten screws on the tandem pump -1-.
