2. Push coolant line upward and unscrew the top fastening screw -arrow-.
3. Remove housing, take out thermostat. Collect the emerging coolant.

4. Using the assembly aid P 9627, push the springs down and twist the sheetmetal tabs out of the holding slots, remove insert.
Installing coolant regulator
1. Clean the sealing faces of the housing and crankcase.
