Heater Core: Removal and Replacement
Removing And Installing Heat Exchanger
Technical values
Removing heat exchanger
1. Release the two fastening clamps for the coolant hoses of the heat exchanger and slide them back over the hoses.
2. Carefully lift off the cover of the heat exchanger and remove from the body.
INFORMATION: If the cover of the heat exchanger is damaged during removal, it must be replaced.
3. Undo the two fastening screws -1- and carefully lift the heat exchanger up and out.
Installing heat exchanger
1. Carefully insert heat exchanger from above into the heating/air-conditioning unit and secure with the fastening screws -1-. - Tightening torque: 1.0
ftlb.
INFORMATION: If the cover of the heat exchanger is damaged during removal, it must be replaced.
