The fuel pressure damper is located in the fuel return line between the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel tank. The damper functions much like a
pressure regulator without the vacuum connection. A spring loaded diaphragm is used to smooth the pressure fluctuations caused by normal opening
and closing of the fuel pressure regulator. This additional dampening is used to lower noise originating from the fuel system and to smooth pressure
fluctuations.
