911 Carrera 214, model year '91 (M)

Concern:

The location for the central locking control unit and the rear spoiler control unit changed with '91 (M) model
year.

Service Information:

The wiring plugs for the rear spoiler control unit and the model year '89 (K) and '90 (L) central locking control
unit are similar. The control units must not be interchanged. The electric circuitry is different. Installation of
the wrong control unit damages the control unit and wiring.
