1. Check flanged shaft for burrs and sharp edges on the
transmission end of the shaft -arrow- and deburr if necessary.

While being inserted, the flange shaft must be carefully guided with the hand in order to prevent damage to the sealing ring in the transmission.

Ensure that the water hoses and the holder are seated correctly.
