1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1- and remove rear retaining strip -2-. Check fastening nuts -3- and replace them if necessary.

Installing rear retaining strip

1. Position rear retaining strip -2- with fastening nuts fitted -3- and secure with the fastening nuts -1-. -] Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

2. Check adjustment dimensions of rear retaining strip and correct if necessary. Refer to Removing and installing rear retaining strip

NOTE:

To reduce adjustment work to a minimum when fitting the rear apron, the rear bumper and rear retaining strip must be aligned with the lower edge
of the rear lid according to the dimensions shown.

However, the precondition for precise positioning of the components is that the rear lid is optimally adjusted and correctly locked in the lock in
accordance with the joining plan, before the rear bumper and rear retaining strip are fitted.
