4. Use a screwdriver or similar tool to push in the lock in -direction of arrow- until it engages.
5. By gently pulling on the belt -1-, check the winding action of the belt strap.
6. Position deflector -2- and seat belt on the inner side section and secure with the fastening screws -1-. -] Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install side trim panel. Refer to Removing and installing rear side trim panel
2. Connect battery. Refer to Work instructions after disconnecting the battery
3. Read out the fault memory using the PIWIS Tester 97180.

Preliminary work

1. Remove cover for the rear. Refer to Removing and installing cover for rear
2. Remove back seat cushion. Refer to Removing and installing back seat cushion
3. Removing rear wall trim panel Refer to Removing and installing trim panel for rear wall

Undoing seat belt and fitting

1. Press out cap -1- with a screwdriver. Unscrew fastening screw -2-. Remove seat belt with fitting -3- and spacer sleeve -4-.
