Axle Nut: Specifications

Rear Suspension

Tighten axle nut (drive shaft to wheel bearing housing) if it was removed (vehicle lowered, brakes operated by 2nd fitter).

Tightening torque ..........................................................................................................................................................................  460 Nm (340 ftlb.)

Front Suspension

Tighten the central nut at the wheel carrier or, with the 911 Carrera 4/911 Turbo, the drive shaft fastening at the side of the wheel to 460 Nm (340
ftlb.). Actuate the brake while doing this.
